David has been Rector of Holy Trinity since October 1, 2020. Previously he had served as Rector of St. Mary’s in High Point, NC for eleven years. Before that, he served as Rector of Grace Episcopal Church in Plymouth, NC and St. Luke’s/St. Anne’s Episcopal Church in Roper, NC. He and his wife, Lorinda, have three school-aged sons: James, Parker, and Thomas. Lorinda is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and has a private practice in High Point. A native of Wilmington, NC, David has a bachelor’s degree in music performance from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a master’s degree in divinity from Virginia Theological Seminary. He has been active on several diocesan committees as well as with local and regional nonprofits. David is particularly passionate about worship and stewardship.
