A warm and welcoming environment demonstrates God's love to even our littlest lambs. Nurseries are located on the first floor of the parish hall.

Nurseries for children ages 4 and younger are offered Sundays from 8:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Lots of Love Companions, Inc. provides childcare service; parents are also assigned as nursery monitors each week. Nurseries are also provided from 3:45–7:45 p.m. on Wednesday nights and by request during select special events.
Sunday School classes are held at 10:15 a.m., September 11-December 18, 2011.
Three-year-olds will be introduced to a structured atrium experience with practical life works, music and simple stories of Jesus. Our children’s and youth classes use the Godly Play method of Christian education and spiritual direction, which is designed to help children become more fully aware of the mystery of God’s presence in their lives through the use of parables, sacred stories, silence and liturgical action.

Young people in 5th-12th grades are invited to be part of our youth program. Please see the Youth Ministry page for details about programs for tweens and teens.
Our children’s music program to offer three choirs for kids, tweens and teens, ages 4 and up, under the direction of Dr. Ben Brafford. Each choir provides quality musical instruction with an introduction to liturgical music and the opportunity to perform as part of services and special events. Children ages 4-7 are invited for play, art and a trip to the playground (weather permitting) under the supervision of parishioner Lilly Heckman. Kids of the Kingdom is offered on Wednesdays, January 19–May 4, 2011 from 3:45–7:45 p.m. in Room 103. Children need not be present the entire time to participate.
Two communion education classes will be offered during Children’s Chapel on March 11 and 18 as a way of helping the child better understand the experience of the Eucharist. If you would like your child to participate, contact the Rev. Virginia Herring at 272-6149 ext. 220 or .
A week of Bible stories, songs, crafts and more for children ages 4 through 4th-graders, this year's VBS is offered June 18-22, 2012. VBS registration forms will be available online and at information stations in early April.
