Virtual Canterbury Pilgrimage
Catch the spirit of pilgrimage in Britain even when travel is impossible! The Pilgrim Ministry is offering to all parishioners, a six-part series, beginning at noon on April 18th 2021, in which pilgrims can engage in spiritual practices, intellectual discovery, and fellowship.
Starting in London, we’ll travel virtually along the recently discovered pilgrim “Old Way” on the South coast of England, to the mother church of the Anglican Communion: Canterbury Cathedral. Each session will include a local expert who will be our virtual guide to their part of the pilgrimage.
Each of the weekly 90-minute sessions includes:
- A presentation and Q&A with a local rector or expert
- Time for prayer, spiritual reflection and fellowship
Short home-based assignments will provide background for each session to help you make the most out of your virtual pilgrimage. Sessions will be recorded for registrants to review or catch up if needed.
The sessions will be presented on Zoom. We will provide the necessary links once you are registered. Cost will $75/person (covers costs for our facilitators and British guides).
