School Supply Drive Continues Through August

As you go about your back-to-school shopping, pick up a few extra pens and pencils for the less fortunate children in our community. Our annual School Supply Drive runs through the month of August and benefits children at Cone Elementary School, Smith High School (where many students are homeless), and the Pathways shelter. Suggested items included: book bags/backpacks, notebook paper, composition books, report folders, 3-ring binders, notebook dividers, pencils, pens, erasers, glue sticks, colored markers, colored pencils, hi-liters, safety scissors, zippered pencil pockets,antibacterial soap/wipes, tissues, hand sanitizer, and feminine hygiene products. Leave your donations in the boxes in the narthex, the receptionist's lobby, and outside the Haywood Duke Room.
