Our mission is to foster an awareness about and commitment to sustainable practices within the parish (energy consumption, recycling, etc.) and encourage parishioners to consciously practice sustainability in their daily lives.
Recycling is important- Please make an effort to place clean and dry recyclables (aluminum cans, plastic and glass bottles without lids and office paper without plastic) into the blue recycling cans. Coffee cups are not recyclable and should be placed in the trash. Help us in our efforts to make Holy Trinity a green parish!
Styrofoam will be collected for recycling on a quarterly basis. We are able to take #6 styrofoam cups, take out containers and box inserts. Everything should be clean and dry. Bins will be available for recycling the week of May 9-15 at 512 Simpson (Julian House) on the side porch- behind the church.
Apply for Wildlife Habitat Certification for your backyard here. For $20, you will receive a certificate, become a member of the National Wildlife Federation, and receive the National Wildlife magazine.
