Business and Finance Committee oversees the parish budget, designated funds, investments, insurance, endowments, bookkeeping, and long-range planning.
Christian Formation Commission evaluates and provides opportunities for every age to engage in the lifelong path of seeking, participating in, and practicing the Christian life of faith.
Christian Social Ministries Commission promotes active ministries of compassion, service, and advocacy. The commission identifies and publicizes ministry opportunities within the parish and in the community, makes grants of financial aid, and oversees the stewardship of Holy Trinity's resources in the work of outreach ministry.
Fellowship and Special Events Commission seeks to provide a hospitable and welcoming environment through which parishioners old and new may find meaningful "niches" in the life of our church. Activities of the commission include the annual parish weekend, foyer groups, summer Sunday breakfasts, the Epiphany Feast, and the San Pasquale Ministry (kitchen ministry). Volunteers (especially people who enjoy working together in the kitchen) are always needed to plan and coordinate these events so that all parishioners may enjoy fellowship and spiritual growth at Holy Trinity.
Gateway Commission seeks to enhance the welcome and engagement of newcomers, new members, and even long-time members into the Holy Trinity family. Its aim is to help people find gateways for becoming involved members of the faith community. The greeting, orientation, and acknowledgement of new persons and new families are principal concerns of this commission, but we are also concerned with follow-through for members seeking a different niche or focus in their life of faith. Come and help make the gateway to Holy Trinity wide, warm, and welcoming!
Office Volunteer Ministry is responsible for doing many of the things that keep Holy Trinity working. Volunteers, both men and women, answer the telephone, fold and collate the Sunday bulletins, label and collate the Parish Post, and perform other light office jobs. Just two hours a week makes a difference!
Pastoral Care Commission serves to help Holy Trinity become an intentionally inclusive Christian community; to be aware of and sensitive to the pastoral needs of all parishioners; and to encourage parishioners to reach out as effective lay ministers and caregivers by providing support, friendship, love and understanding. Active volunteer participation is crucial to fulfilling this statement of purpose. We want you to become involved.
Physical Properties Commission oversees the buildings, capital improvements, grounds, equipment, columbarium, and the Building Superintendent.
Planned Giving Ministry provides an opportunity for parishioners to take advantage of planned giving options to effectively make charitable gifts to the glory of God. The Planned Giving Coordinator is available to discuss with you confidentially the use of bequests and other planned giving techniques.
Worship Commission coordinates all of the opportunities for participation in the life of worship at Holy Trinity, which together make our liturgy a beautiful offering to God. Volunteers are needed to keep the Worship Commission ministries alive and growing to the glory of God.
