Youth Ministry
Youth in sixth through twelfth grades are eligible to participate in the youth programs at Holy Trinity. There are a variety of ways that adults can be involved with our young people. If you are interested in any of the following ministries, please let us know! For more information about the youth program, visit our website at www.holytrinityyouth.com or contact:

Glory Ridge is the name of the camp in Madison County, North Carolina, where Holy Trinity sends a group of youth and adults each summer to rehabilitate the homes of the poor and elderly. Rising ninth-graders through graduating high school seniors are eligible to attend. We welcome adults who have construction skills (or a willingness to learn) and are interested in working with teens to serve as leaders for the trip.

Guardian Angels serve and support young people through prayer for the length of a liturgical season. They are assigned a teenager to pray for and send encouraging notes to anonymously. At the end of the season, Guardian Angels reveal themselves to their teens at a special reception. This is an easy and meaningful way to get prayerfully involved in the lives of young people.

Youth Church School Teachers serve directly in the trenches, shaping the faith of our teens. Teachers work as part of a team, and training is provided.

Youth Group Leaders (Youth Ministers) offer a ministry of presence with our young people. Holy Trinity offers two youth groups that meet on Sunday afternoons and Wednesday evenings: Sixty 7, for middle-schoolers; and BYH (Big Yellow House), for high-schoolers. Youth group activities include fundraisers, service projects, spiritual programs, trips, retreats, and lots of laughs. Youth Ministers don’t have to be an expert on teen culture; all we ask is for the desire to be a part of young peoples’ lives. You will also have an opportunity to enjoy fellowship with other adults and receive youth ministry training.

Other Ways to Get Involved with Youth Ministry Got any photography skills? Want to cook a meal for our teens? Have a beach or mountain home we could use for retreats? Know something about marketing? Have a swimming pool? You never know—you might have something to offer our youth group programs! Think creatively! The youth programs welcome any and all talents you may have to offer.
