Holy Trinity's many ministries could not function without the support (time, talent and treasure) of our parishioners and the community, and we appreciate every contribution we receive.
At Holy Trinity, we count on volunteers and financial gifts/pledges to help us continue Christ's work in our community. These gifts help us serve those in need, provide programs and services to our faith community, and maintain our facilities. Giving is taught as a significant spiritual practice. How we live and how we give are key principles underlying our living relationship with God.
Holy Trinity offers many opportunities to give as a joyful response to God's generosity to us. If you would like to give of your time or to become more involved, please see Get Involved. If you would like to make a financial gift we suggest:
Annual giving is the annual commitment program in which pledges and gifts are solicited in support of the mission and ministry of the congregation as reflected in the operating budget. Annual giving at Holy Trinity is referred to as the Every Member Canvass.
Planned giving is legacy giving. It is the way in which we address the matter of disposing of the accumulations of our lifetime. It is the opportunity to leave a planned gift that helps provide for the financial and spiritual well-being of future generations and a final witness to those whom we hold most dear. Gifts of this type often come from wills, charitable gift annuities, life insurance, retirement plans etc.
Extraordinary Giving involves the special occasions that arise in the life of Christian communities that call us to give beyond our ordinary habit. They involve increased commitment and encourage us to really experiment with generous and joyful giving trusting in God in order to help the community realize an especially important goal. The best example of extraordinary giving is a capital campaign.
Special giving is additional giving in response to special requests. Through out the year there are numerous opportunities to support mission, music, flowers, etc. These gifts should be in addition to all other giving programs.
