Children and Youth Formation

**Special Note: Volunteers Needed to Teach Children’s and Youth Sunday School
We are understaffed in all of our Sunday school classes, and need your help. In order to have Sunday school for our children and youth, we need two adult volunteers in each class. We have combined age levels and presently have a Kindergarten – 2nd Grade Class; 3rd – 5th Grade Class; and a 6th – 12th Grade Class. Lesson plans, materials, and activities are all provided. You can choose the Sundays that suit your schedule. Please email   to sign up to help or to learn more.

Each child at Holy Trinity is encouraged and supported in the exploration of his or her own spirituality in an age-appropriate way. Our warm and welcoming environment creates a safe place for children to come to know God.

Sunday Morning Family Worship Options
Children are always welcome in worship at Holy Trinity. For families with children, one-time paper bags are available at both the 9 and 11:15 a.m. services for our youngest members in baskets in the narthex. These bags contain children’s worship bulletins, pipe cleaners, and notepads. Please supply your own crayons or markers.

Nursery Care: A warm and welcoming environment demonstrates God’s love to our youngest children. The nursery for Birth – Pre-K is located on the first floor of the Parish House in Room 105. Childcare is provided Sundays from 8:45 a.m. – 11 a.m. There are two paid childcare providers. In addition, during the 9 a.m. service and Sunday school, there is a parent volunteer. All nursery workers and volunteers need to be vaccinated for COVID-19 and wear masks.A Nursery Task Force has formed the following procedures for the nursery. Pre-registration is required. There will be two time slots: 8:45-10:30 a.m. and 10:45-11 a.m. so the nursery can accommodate twelve children each Sunday. Beginning Sunday, October 24 childcare will be provided on Sunday mornings from 8:45 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in Room 105. We are discontinuing childcare during the 11:15 a.m. service, because it has not been used. If there is a need in the future, we can reinstate childcare for the 11:15 a.m. service. Click here for the Infant & Toddler registration for Nursery, and Waitlist.
