Each child at Holy Trinity is encouraged and supported in the exploration of his or her own spirituality in an age-appropriate way. Our warm and welcoming environment creates a safe place for children to come to know God.

Sundays

Sunday Morning Family Worship Options
Children are always welcome in worship at Holy Trinity. For families with children, one-time paper bags are available at both the 9 and 11:15 a.m. services for our youngest members in baskets in the narthex. These bags contain children’s worship bulletins, pipe cleaners, and notepads. Please supply your own crayons or markers. 

Nursery Care: A warm and welcoming environment demonstrates God’s love to our youngest children. The nursery for Birth–Pre-K is located on the first floor of the Parish House in Room 105. Childcare is provided Sundays from 8:45–11 a.m. Registration required. Click here for the Infant & Toddler registration for Nursery, and Waitlist.

Children’s Chapel: Offered during the 9 a.m. service for children in Pre-K–2nd grade. Parents may drop children off from 8:45–9 a.m. in Broome Hall. Children hear a story, sing songs, and pray. Adult volunteers need to be vaccinated for COVID-19. Children join their parents at the Peace for Eucharist.

Sunday School Classes
Sunday school classes are held from 10–10:45 a.m. Kindergarten–2nd Grade will meet on the second floor of the Parish House in Room 210. 3rd–5th Grade will meet on the second floor of the Parish House in Room 211.The classes use Godly Play, which focuses on learning the sacred stories of our faith in such a way that the stories are inscribed on the children’s hearts. Adult volunteers need to be vaccinated for COVID-19.

Special Events

Throughout the year, Holy Trinity holds special events for children and their families. Events include an All Saints’ Day celebration, Advent wreath making, Los Posadas, a Christmas pageant, Mardi Gras Carnival, preparation of ashes for Ash Wednesday, and an Easter egg hunt. Vacation Bible School
Register today for Vacation Bible School June 26-29. The theme is Compassion Camp: Changing the World with Loving Kindness. Open to children in rising Four Year Pre-K through rising Fifth Grade.  The cost is $75 per child.  Rising Sixth graders are invited to serve as Junior Shepherds at half price. Adults and older teens are also needed to help staff VBS. Bible School Light is provided at no cost for younger siblings of volunteers. Email   to volunteer. Youth Confirmation: Teens (9th grade and older) prepare for confirmation during four Sunday morning classes February - March. Candidates are required to attend Shrove Tuesday.
