Welcome to Holy Trinity. Wherever you are on your journey of faith, no matter where you’ve been or where you’re going, you are welcome at Holy Trinity. Listed below are opportunities for the Holy Trinity community to get to know you and introduce you to the church’s life and ministry. Fall 2023

First Sunday Name Tags: All worshipers on the first Sunday of each month are invited to wear a name tag. This is a great way to get to know your pew neighbor, make new friends, and welcome everyone to Holy Trinity. Name tags are available as you enter worship services.


Newcomer and New Member Stillpoint and Welcome Dinner: On Oct. 4, join us for Holy Trinity’s Wednesday evening meditative Stillpoint service at 5:30 p.m. in the Chapel followed by a welcome dinner in Roe Library hosted by Holy Trinity’s Gateway Hospitality Ministry, clergy, Vestry, and faith leaders. Beer and Hymns: Enjoy a Sunday afternoon with new Holy Trinity friends singing (or listening to others sing) favorite church hymns while enjoying a cool beverage (non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages available). Holy Trinity Tour: Join us for a tour of Holy Trinity’s buildings and gardens. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about Holy Trinity and to get connected to the Holy Trinity community. Tour begins on the Labyrinth at 10:15 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 12.


New Member Liturgy of Belonging: Joining a new faith community is a significant step in your spiritual journey. The Holy Trinity community invites you to join us as we commit to grow spiritually, care for one another, and serve Christ. Sunday, Nov. 19, 9 a.m. service

Adult Confirmation Classes: Confirmation classes are for those seeking confirmation into The Episcopal Church. “Confirmation is the sacramental rite in which the baptized Christian expresses a mature commitment to Christ, and receives strength from the Holy Spirit through prayer and the laying on of hands by a bishop.” (Book of Common Prayer, p. 860). Adult confirmation classes are also for those being received into The Episcopal Church from a sister confirming tradition and for those who want to recommit themselves to Christian life and faith by reaffirming their baptismal vows. The class is taught by Fr. David Umphlett. Wednesdays, May 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, 6-8 p.m., Roe Library


Confirmation Sunday: The Bishop’s visit on Confirmation Sunday is an opportunity to receive the sacrament of Confirmation, to be received into The Episcopal Church, or to reaffirm one’s Baptismal vows. April 28, 11:15 a.m. service.
