FALL 2025


First Sunday Name Tags: On the first Sunday of each month everybody is invited to wear a name tag to introduce ourselves to one another. This is a great way to get to know your pew neighbor, make new friends, and welcome all people to Holy Trinity! Name tags are available as you enter worship services.

 

Get to Know Holy Trinity & Walking Tour of the Holy Trinity Campus, Second Sundays, 9:30 – 10:15 a.m.: Learn about Holy Trinity ministries on a walking tour of the Holy Trinity campus. The tour begins in the Nave on the steps at the front of the church. Led by Rev. Mark Lile-King.

 

Newcomer and New Member Stillpoint and Welcome Dinner: Join us for Holy Trinity’s Wednesday evening meditative Stillpoint service followed by a Welcome Dinner hosted by Holy Trinity’s Gateway Hospitality Ministry, clergy, Vestry, and faith leaders. Please RSVP by using the ePistle, Holy Trinity’s weekly electronic newsletter, or by calling the church office. Wednesday, Sept. 17, Stillpoint in All Saints Chapel at 5:15, Followed by Welcome Dinner, Roe Library.

 

New Member Liturgy of Belonging: Joining a new faith community is a significant step in your spiritual journey. The Holy Trinity community invites you to join us as we together commit to grow spiritually, care for one another, and service Christ. Sunday, Nov. 16, 10:30 a.m. service.

Adult Confirmation Classes: Confirmation classes are for those seeking Confirmation into the Episcopal Church. “Confirmation is the sacramental rite in which the baptized Christian expresses a mature commitment to Christ and receives strength from the Holy Spirit through prayer and the laying on of hands by a bishop” (Book of Common Prayer, p. 860). Adult Confirmation classes are also for those being Received into the Episcopal Church from a sister confirming tradition and for those who want to recommit themselves to Christian life and faith by Reaffirming their baptismal vows. The class is taught by Father David Umphlett. Wednesdays, Feb. 25-March 25, 5:30 p.m. Dinner, Haywood Duke; 6-7:15 p.m, Class, Roe Library.

 

Confirmation Sunday: The Bishop’s visit on Confirmation Sunday is an opportunity to receive the sacrament of Confirmation, to be Received into the Episcopal Church, or to Reaffirm one’s Baptismal Vows. TBA.
